For Steam Deck LCD owners that want to upgrade to an OLED but don’t want to deal with the installation process, Shade Technik is offering an install service.
You ship your Steam Deck in, we install DeckSight, flash the BIOS and ship it back.
The price includes DeckSight and return shipping. You just pay to ship it in
There is a chance the stock LCD will crack or be otherwise damaged when removed. It will be shipped back along with your Steam Deck but there is no guarantee it will still work. If this is unacceptable, do not purchase the install service.
Steam Deck must be fully working before sending it in, this is to avoid the claim that something was broken during the install. If the LCD is broken or some other issue is present you must contact us at info@shadetechnik.com and explain any issues the Steam Deck already has. Any Steam Deck that has obvious issues that were not mentioned will be shipped back without install and given a partial refund.
